As a lambic/gueuze-style beer, this bottle offers a distinctly Belgian combination of fermentation complexity, acidity and dryness. It is best approached more like a speciality table beer than a mainstream lager, especially with cheese, cured meats or food that benefits from a refreshing acidic lift.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Complex fermentation aromas with citrus, orchard fruit, earthy notes and a lightly funky character.
Palate: Dry and lively, with bright acidity, restrained malt and layered fermentation character.
Finish: Long, tart and dry, with citrus, mineral and gently earthy notes lingering.

Belgian Cellar Notes –
An enjoyable belgian beer with more depth than a straightforward lager. Worth taking time over rather than drinking too quickly.
Glassware & Serving Notes –
Well balanced and characterful with a satisfying finish. The balance is what stands out most. There is enough character here to enjoy it without food.
Brouwerij Notes –
Aromatic and nicely structured with plenty of personality. Not quite my favourite expression of the style, but there is plenty of character. Worth taking time over rather than drinking too quickly.
Glassware & Serving Notes –
Distinctly belgian with a balanced mix of malt, yeast and bitterness. It would sit very comfortably alongside cheese or charcuterie.
Flanders Beer Notes –
Aromatic and nicely structured with plenty of personality. The balance is what stands out most. A slow pour and a little time in the glass suit it well.
